‘Hold It’ started out as a summer groove under the trees at Mystery Bay campground on the south coast of Australia, and was later couched in ‘Go Go Penguin’ style rhythms; a Manchester-based band. The middle section of exploration came out of sessions with saxophonist Sandy Evans, and our sudden addiction to polyrhythms.
