This somewhat lively piece came from the depths of my ‘half-finished’ pile of compositions, with the relatively unusual characteristic of being already named. A while ago I went to see the fantastic US band, Crooked Still. I loved the energy and intensity that these great musicians brought to the stage so much, I wanted to try and encapsulate the excitement I felt in a tune of my own. The title? I’m not sure where that came from, to be honest.
